For twenty two years my career as an illustrator has been applied to various formats . While some illustrators are recognised for their individualistic styles and techniques, my strength has come from perfecting numerous styles which can be drawn upon (no pun intended). This degree of versatility has had some minor drawbacks, but overall provided me with many opportunies to work on exciting projects here and in the international arena.
The following is an outline of particular projects and memorable moments within my career, which have prevented me from losing interest and joining the French Foreign Legion. Lets face it, making a living as a freelance cartoonist , children’s book illustrator, or art director is exciting stimulating and can be immensly rewarding in its diversity. The challenge to be fresh , original, and relevant in a rapidly changing world of media, requires imagination, and a good sense of humour.
